Gerald D. Vinnard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fresno State University in 1966. Thereafter, he attended Harvard Law School, graduating cum laude in 1969.
From 1969 to 1970, Mr. Vinnard was an Assistant Professor at Loyola Law School (New Orleans) where he taught contracts, commercial paper and taxation. In 1970, he was called to military service with the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the United States Navy. During his first four year tour, Mr. Vinnard served as both Senior Prosecutor at the Norfolk Naval Base and Special Courts - Martial Judge. Mr. Vinnard joined the firm in 1974, and became a partner of the firm in 1976. He has served as President of the firm since 1997.
Mr. Vinnard devotes most of his time to business litigation, representation of clients in bankruptcy courts and real estate matters. Reported cases include United States ex rel. Sequoia Orange Co. v.
